Please note that the US Strategy Forum 2025 has been moved to an online event following feedback from our members. This online event combines content from that forum and the Impact of AI on Biometric Vulnerabilities Workshop. This seminar has two sessions, the first one providing important updates on US developments and the second session looking into the impact of AI on biometric vulnerabilities e.g. deepfakes. Please note the event requires prior registration.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Biometrics Institute provides a platform for rich, balanced and trusted conversations. View our Statement of Trusted Conversations to understand what makes our events unique. For example, the event will be held under Chatham House Rule and will be off-the-record (no media) to facilitate open dialogue between our members and stakeholders.

This event combines updates on biometric updates from the US, focusing on biometric strategy, privacy and policy, with a deep dive into the considerations required to navigate the evolving landscape of AI, deepfakes and biometric security. It will provide an opportunity to help build and amplify a voice for our community that provides a balanced view on biometrics, sharing global good practices, and lessons learnt from international case studies. Educating key decision-makers and regulators is critical to building public trust. Helping organisations understand the tools available and the considerations needed to implement biometrics responsibly is the focus of this event.
